Half-Pinoy Perkins Twins Recognized by USTA
The Perkins Twins, Jesse and Christian were presented with 1st Place awards at the USTA Northern California (NorCal) Junior Recognition Ceremony that took place on Saturday, May 15 at the Fremont Tennis Center .

The Menlo Park-based Half-Pinoy Perkins Twins, Jesse (left) and Christian was recently recognized by USTA.

The Perkins Twins won the NorCal 1st Place USTA Grand Prix Awards for Boys 16 Doubles. The Perkins twins also won the 1st Place Position for the San Mateo County Leaderboard Award for Boys 16 Doubles. The Grand Prix Circuit Winner Award is a series of tournaments from June through August, 2009. And the Leaderboard award is an award for the top ranking at the end of 2009.
The fraternal twins, both straight ‘A’ students, started playing tennis when they were about 9 years old.

Belated Happy Birthday to Angelica Dirige, recently turned 9, who partied last Saturday with classmates, family and friends complete with a clowning trained Rose-colored Cockatoo bird (it put on a very hilarious show. I heard this was a riot, Anthony!) and a Party jumper by their backyard in her parents (Grace and Mel Lim) house in the very exclusive Blackhawk area in Danville , CA .

Vina Morales's other sister - Sheryl Magdayao Martinez, left (with cousin Athena Hijosa) graced the Agoonians Royal Court Coronation last Saturday and their next day Lechon party in San Jose at the Tabora residence. She just arrived and new in the area and will be living here for good. Welcome to San Jose, Sheryl!

Tom Rodriguez's (left, shown here with Julius Milanes of San Jose, CA) very first movie, "Here Comes The Bride" opens this Friday, May 21st here in the US at the Great Mall Century Theaters in Milpitas, UA Stonestown in San Francisco and in Century Theaters in Vallejo, CA. According to reliable reviews, this movie is highly entertaining, especially the portions after the movie credits are shown.
