Hanley Chan is the most qualified candidate and the only Asian American to run for the Broadmoor police commission in a heavy Filipino American district. He has endorsements from Filipino leaders like Daly City vice mayor Mike Guingona, Alice Bulos, Fel Amistad, Ray Satorre, and Tony Salcedo he also has major endorsement from the State Controller John Chiang and State Board of Equalization Betty Yee. Hanley Chan was inducted to the San Mateo Filipino American Chamber of Commerce as the 3rd vice president this September and always been helping the Filipino Americans. Broadmoor has over 40% Filipino Americans that resides there and in history never been a Asian American representative.
